1. Fertilizer Tea

You can prepare a "tea" from the fertilizer you have and give it to your plants every 15–20 days. Take around 100 grams of compost (cow dung manure, vermicompost, or kitchen compost), wrap it in a cloth to make a pouch, and soak it in 2 liters of water for 48–72 hours. Once ready, fill this liquid in a spray bottle. You can also dilute it further by mixing four times the water and pouring it around the roots or mix 20 ml of this "tea" with 1 liter of plain water and spray it on the leaves. This will promote healthy growth and keep pests away.

2. Neem-Based Pesticide

Grind approximately 100 grams of neem leaves, 50 grams of ginger, 50 grams of chili, 50 grams of turmeric, and 50 grams of garlic together. Mix this paste with 1 liter of water and strain the solution. This pesticide is ready. Mix about 20 ml of this solution with 1 liter of water and spray it on the plants. Repeat this every 10 days to eliminate all pests.

3. Cow Dung Spray

Soak one cow dung cake in 2 liters of water for 2–3 days. After that, dilute it with four times more water and pour it around the roots of the plants. This liquid will provide nitrogen, which is essential for healthy plant growth.

Note:
Plants are like humans; don’t overfeed them with fertilizer or sprays. Apply solid cow dung manure or vermicompost once or twice a year. However, feeding them this liquid "tea" every 10–15 days or spraying it on their leaves will keep them happy and healthy.

4. Mustard Cake for Flowers

To enhance plant growth and ensure blooming flowers, mustard cake is the best fertilizer. Soak about 100 grams of mustard cake and 50 grams of jaggery in approximately 2 liters of water for 4 days. Stir this mixture every morning and evening. After 4 days, dilute this solution by mixing it with ten times the amount of water and pour it around the roots.

5. Banana/Onion Peel Solution

Soak banana peels in water for 4–6 days. Strain the water and dilute it with four times more water before applying it to the plants. Similarly, you can prepare a spray using onion peels.

By adopting these simple home remedies, you can nurture your garden and make your flowers bloom beautifully. Flowers, like us, are living beings and a wonderful gift of nature to enhance the beauty of our surroundings.
